Everything I learned from creating Tugger was put to use in this project. I was tasked to create a K-Cup brand system in one week. Pure Blue was inspired by my Jamaican roots and the blue mountains in Jamaica. The logo features a line drawing of the Blue Mountain ridge that I sourced from an image I took on my last trip to Jamaica. For this project, I wanted to stay away from the cliche tropical imagery that one associates with Jamaica and coffee. I was inspired by retro tropical postcards and posters that featured bold, solid color and vector imagery. With that in mind, I illustrated an image of a beach scene for the box in Procreate.
